
Rima Balshe is a cognitive psychologist with expertise in topics that pertain to memory, attention, language, and learning. She has assessed hundreds of children and takes a strength-based approach to assessment and interventions for neurodiverse children.
Early in her career, Balshe worked for several years with children, providing a wide range of educational and behavioral interventions. Balshe also taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level at the American University in Cairo, where she delivered courses in cognitive psychology, psychological testing and assessment, psychology in schools, and research methods. Balshe is currently a Lecturer at the department of psychology at Coventry University in Cairo delivering courses such as mental health and wellbeing, and research into human behavior.
Rima Balshe earned her PhD from University College London. Balshe also has an MA in Special and Inclusive Education with distinction from the University of London and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Carleton University in Canada.
